Can more than one person at my company have an on-line account?

Yes, when you set up an account, one person will be set up as the administrator. The administrator will be able to add other users at their company.

I have a trade account, can I still order on-line?

Yes, of course, all you need to do is register on-line for the first time, and we will get your online account set-up, with the same terms as your trade account.

What payment methods do we accept?

If you already have a trade account, your method of payment remains the same. If you are using a guest account you can pay using paypal.

Can I order a product that is not in stock?

Yes, you have the ability to order products that are not in stock. Products that are currently out of stock display a lead-time. The lead-time is an estimated number of days from when an order is placed that House of Electrical will receive product from the manufacturer. Once we receive product from the manufacturer, it will be shipped using your selected shipping method. When you order a product that is displaying a lead-time, your entire order may be delayed or may be required to use multiple shipments.

Can I change my order once it has been submitted?

Yes, once your order has been placed, if you need to make a change you can call 1-866-667-6632 and ask to speak to someone in customer service, or email us at orders@houseofelectrical.com

I received my order and the quantity shipped is incorrect or I received an incorrect item, what should I do?

SHIPPING

What shipping carriers do use?

For trade accounts we utilize a combination of our own trucks, and couriers such as FEDEX and Purolator. For guest accounts we use Purolator for local deliveries in Ontario, and Canada Post for deliveries outside of Ontario.

Can I order online and pick up at one of your locations?

Yes, at the check out you will see the option to choose delivery or pick up. Once you select pick up, you can choose the location you want to pick up from.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Yes, we do ship to the US as well. If you are inquiring from another country, other than the US or Canada, please contact one of our locations for more information.

RETURNS

How do I return an item?

Please complete our return authorization form. Once you receive our return authorization approval via e-mail, you can send the goods back to us. Please note, all returns are subject to inspection and the material must be unused, and in it’s original packaging.
